Wild Wild West in the East; Man in Horse & Buggy Outruns NY Lawmen

Before you start thinking "what happened here" "How come New Yorks finest couldnt catch him?," it should be noted that the suspect allegedly took his buggy through fields and woods where the cruisers couldn't go. And they eventually arrested him at his house.

I am wondering what about the porr horse? Will it be impounded / confiscated as evidence?
